After floor installation
- After installing the floor, we remove distance blocks and we attach the strips.
- We dust and vacuum the floor, dirty spots should be cleaned with a damp cloth.
- Finished floor should be first protected with a special cleaner for lacquered or oiled floors, recommended by the floor manufacturer, which will prevent water entry between parquet joints.
- Covering the floor with impregnation agent does not protect the parquet from absorbing the water 100%.
- Further floor maintenance should be carried out regarding the recommendations of care products supplier.
- The floor should not be additionally lacquered.
- While cleaning the floor always use a damp cloth or a well squeezed mop, to avoid the excess of water.
- In a situation, where the room temperature is around 18-22 and the air humidity drops below 45-50%, the slats will start shrinking and gaps will appear between them. It may also cause edging of the floor.
- In a situation, where the room temperature is around 18-22 and air humidity is over 55-60% edging and bulging of the floor may occur.
